Responsibilities
Product Strategy & Vision
- Develop a deep understanding of the client's business model, competitive landscape and customer/user segments, and use these to inform business and product strategy.
- Collaborate with clients to determine business and product goals, product scope, design and technical approach, and delivery milestones.
- Advise clients on eCommerce strategies and best practices to achieve business objectives including eCommerce platform selection, integration advice, and leveraging of emerging technologies.
Plan and Drive Discoveries
- Develop and execute discovery plans alongside cross-functional team members, including design leads and solutions architects.
- Facilitate and drive product-specific activities within a discovery phase including feature ideation, requirements gathering, competitive analysis, and third party integration analysis
Project Transition and Team Building
- Own the transition of projects from the discovery to delivery phase.
- Build and manage the needed team to ensure successful project delivery.
Cross-Functional Project Delivery
- Drive cross-functional project delivery following Agile principles, ensuring effective risk management and progress transparency.
- Partner with Product & Project Managers to ensure delivery teams are in line with timelines, scope, and budgets.
- Constantly measure the success of your projects and the products you own to ensure the team is on the right track to deliver value to the client and the business.
What you’ll need to be successful (Requirements)
- MUST have client facing experience preferably in a consulting setting, eCommerce agency, or within an eCommerce focused product/services company.
- Experience with eCommerce platforms such as Shopify, BigCommerce, Shopware, or Saleor
- Five (5)+ years of formal, relevant product experience.
- High energy, team player, creative thinker, and strategic influencer.
- Demonstrated experience in working with broad cross-functional teams.
- Maturity and good judgment.
- Skilled in negotiating, influencing others, analytical thinking, leading others, and executing and implementing projects.
- Willingness to learn and work in a hands-on environment
Bonus Points for these (Preferred Experience)
- CSPO certification.
- Jira Software/Confluence experience.
- Experience with leveraging GA4 to understand site performance and user behavior and working with other cross-functional team members to determine needed conversion rate optimizations
