Role summary

This company is seeking a talented Website Manager to drive their eCommerce strategy and enhance their online presence. In this role, you’ll maximize online sales, ensure smooth website operations, and create an engaging, user-focused online experience. Reporting to the Head of Marketing, you’ll work closely with the Sales and Brand teams to align campaigns and optimize customer journeys.

Responsibilities

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage the eCommerce function to maximize online sales revenue.
  • Cultivate an innovative, stylish website to drive traffic.
  • Deliver a seamless online experience to convert visitors into customers.
  • Plan future improvements to systems.
  • Ensure efficient day-to-day website operations, collaborating with Tech Agencies for ongoing development.
  • Utilize web analytics to gain insights into user behavior and prepare reports.
  • Collaborate closely with Marketing and Sales to align campaigns with the overall sales strategy.
  • Develop, communicate, and implement the eCommerce strategy.
  • Manage daily web content to ensure accurate and effective representation of all products and services.
  • Oversee website operations, maintaining deadlines and budgets.
  • Work closely with the Brand Manager on creative development, ensuring engaging and platform-specific web content.
  • Manage customer journey development through UX and UI, including direct communication channels such as Email and Live Chat.
  • Track, analyze, and report on platform performance using tools like Google Analytics, Microsoft Clarity, and Looker Studio.
  • Analyze competitor activity and apply key insights.

Qualifications

  • Excellent interpersonal skills and the demonstrated ability to work effectively with diverse partners, both internal and external.
  • Ability to adapt quickly to change, prioritize multiple tasks, and deliver results on time, on budget, and on message.
  • Process-driven with a solid understanding of end-to-end processes and systems.
  • Impeccable attention to detail with the ability to meet deadlines and manage delivery expectations.
  • Demonstrated success in increasing profitability in a previous role, with experience in key KPIs like Conversion, AOV, and Acquisition.
  • Experience managing site performance to inform decision-making, user-focused optimization, and enhanced customer experience.
  • Proficient in Google Analytics 4, with strong skills in interpreting reports and using data for insights.
  • Strong spreadsheet skills with the ability to manage large data sets.
  • Working knowledge of HTML and ability to write functional specifications, sitemaps, and test plans.
  • Familiarity with website and domain hosting.

  • Mantis or similar bug tracking software
  • Adobe InDesign and Photoshop
